LORY LYBECK

Mr. Lybeck has been a trial lawyer for over 25 years. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Lybeck worked as a lobbyist at the Washington State legislature and led a number of PR campaigns for large industry groups.
Since 1983, Mr. Lybeck has focused his practice in the areas of insurance litigation, medical malpractice defense, environmental litigation, construction and products liability disputes. Mr. Lybeck maintains a very active trial practice in state and federal courts in Washington and Oregon. He has also been retained to litigate major disputes for clients in Alaska and Idaho. Mr. Lybeck has advised a wide variety of professional, institutional and individual clients involved in environmental, estate/probate disputes, health care, products liability and professional negligence. He has been appointed a Special Attorney General for Washington State to defend resident physicians training at the University of Washington. He has also successfully represented institutional clients with very significant products liability and construction defect claims. Mr. Lybeck has presented cases in appellate courts in Oregon and Washington. He was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 1986.
